Hof. הוּרָם to be taken off, esp. to be separated as an offering, priests share ; to be consecrated. Ḥall. II, 8 שלא הוּרְמָה חלתה (not הורם), v. חַלָּה. Sifré Num. 110 (ref. to Num. 4:20) את שמוּרָם קודשוכ׳ that which is separated is to be sacred, and the remainder secular, but (no Ḥallah is to be taken,) when both would be sacred.
